Rocksteady recently confirmed that their next game is Suicide Squad by posting a teaser on Twitter. Remember when we confirmed it way back in June after getting the information about the domains they had registered? Well, all we can say is: we told you so!

Casual fans might mistake the character in the picture to be Superman and the game about hunting him, but looks can be deceitful! The purple hue and the patchy skin might be an indication of who this actually is: Bizarro! A fictional supervillain/anti-hero who has been described as the ‘mirror image’ of Superman.
According to DC lore, Suicide Squad is a supervillain team and their most recent incarnation is the Task Force X. A team of incarcerated villains who undertake high-risk black-ops missions for the government for a reduced sentence. A twist on the premise – everyone’s expendable. The camaraderie amongst these always-on-edge villains while they go on missions without hope of returning back safe, and trying to save people without any altruistic motive or faith, imparts a seldom seen freshness into superhero comics!
Some of the famous characters who have been in the Suicide Squad are Joker, Harley Quinn, Katana, Deadshot, Enchantress, Deathstroke, and Killer Croc (alongside several others). Bizarro has never been a part of the Suicide Squad in the comics till now, and we are excited to see Rocksteady’s new take on this series!
