Gods it feels like our prayers have been answered. Coming hot off the Yakuza 3 Remaster for the West leak the past day, some blessed soul has spotted The Yakuza Remastered Collection on the Playstation Store listed as an upcoming release. It’s safe to assume that the collection will include Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 remasters which already saw a release in Japan as individual releases.
Here’s hoping that SEGA will announce the release tomorrow at gamescom 2019.
Yakuza 3 is available on PS4 now, while Yakuza 4 will be available on Oct. 29, and Yakuza 5 will be available on Feb. 11, 2020, released separately.
Sega will also release a physical version of The Yakuza Remastered Collection on Feb. 11, 2020. The two-disc set will come in a special package featuring a red collectible case emblazoned with Kiryu’s dragon tattoo and a PlayStation 3-style case for Yakuza 5, which was previously only available digitally.
