If you’re excited for Riot’s new offerings this year (which finally justifies the ‘s’ in Riot Games), then Valorant might be up your alley. Legends of Runeterra, Riot’s card game, now officially in beta, shares the same universe with League of Legends. Project A, popularly known as Valorant, is Riot’s first venture into an FPS game. People excited for the summer release of Valorant can be pleased to know that the closed beta will start officially from April 7.

The first batch of test servers will only be restricted to Europe, Canada, United States, Turkey, Russia and CIS countries. The beta will gradually be extended to include more regions. Twitch-partnered streamers will be playing the game throughout the duration of the closed beta – to get access to the game, all one has to do is link their Riot accounts with their Twitch accounts and keep watching till they get access.

Players from other regions can grant their views by watching player-made content. The closed beta is going to phased out to other regions gradually before the actual release in Summer 2020.
