Ubisoft’s The Division 2 is focusing its priorities on multiplayer gameplay doesn’t mean that the game cannot be completed as solo.

In an interview with AusGamers, game director Mathias Karlson said The Division 2 can be played from start to end without asking help from your friends. “You can play through the entire story campaign into end-game and [then the] end-game [content], alone,” said Karlson. “[But] you can also do the same content [in] two, three, or four player co-op. Or eight player co-op, two full groups in the raid if you opt into the challenge that we’re adding.”

Mathias emphazised that it’s a core principal for them that there is no right or wrong way to play The Division. But he hasn’t explained as to how much difficult it would be to complete end-game content alone, as compared to doing it in groups. While the first game did allow you to play solo, the end-game missions were really hard whitout a few friends tagging along.

The Division 2 is slated for a 15 March 2019 release date.
