EA has finally revealed Star Wars: Squadrons today, and it’ll hit PS4, Xbox One and PC (on Origin, Epic Games Store and Steam) on Oct. 2. It’ll support virtual reality play on PC and PS4, with full crossplay between all three platforms from the get-go.
It’s primarily a 5v5 first-person multiplayer dogfighting game but also features an original single-player story set after Return of the Jedi and the rebels’ victory at the Battle of Endor, with the perspective alternating between the fledgling New Republic’s Vanguard Squadron and the Empire’s much cooler-sounding Titan Squadron.
The publisher has also released the official PC system requirements of Star Wars Squadrons:-
