Twin stick shooters are filling the market these days and it’s very tough to find one which doesn’t follow the norm. Every now and then we come across one of these games which is fun to play and gives a twist to the gameplay with mechanics that keep you captivated. RIVE, from the looks of it, is a good looking game and you’d be surprised to know that the game is being developed by just 3 people, all dedicated to provide you with the best gaming experience you possibly can. The game is going to bring back the classic twin stick shooter-platformer with a bit of hacking into the mix. We’ll have to wait and see how the game’s hacking works and functions. Visually, it’ll appeal to a large crowd due to the colorful environment and the great textural graphics.
The developers are claiming an involvement of about 6-8 hours for besting the game. Going for high scores will automatically inculcate additional hours into the game. One slight party pooper is the fact that there is no sort of multiplayer or online play. But as long as the content is good, nothing else matters. The game will not be releasing on previous gen consoles, because apparently the game needs the power of the modern day machines.
