Rainbow Six action is about to get hotter! Ubisoft officially teams up with Paypal as the official payment partner for all esports events organized for Rainbow Six : Siege in the days to come. The partnership extends from November 2018 to November 2019, covering all the major esports events organized across North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America. This include the Rainbow Six : Siege Pro League 9 and 10, the Six Invitational 2019 and the Six Edition of the Six Major, taking place in Summer 2019 at an ‘undisclosed location’.
“We are honored to welcome PayPal as a key partner for our Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League and Majors,”said Geoffroy Sardin, Vice President Sales & Marketing for Ubisoft EMEA. “This is a clear signal that the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six esports scene is constantly moving forward, attracting new partners who share our enthusiasm for esports. It will be great to see our partnership flourish in our upcoming events, including Rio de Janeiro, Montreal and events throughout 2019.”
“PayPal is the ultimate upgrade companion for the Rainbow Six: Siege community, allowing players to checkout securely and conveniently so they can worry less and experience more,” said Adriana Bello, Head of Consumer Go To Market, PayPal. “As the top cited preferred way to pay for gaming content, in-game items and content creator subscriptions, we’re excited to collaborate with the Ubisoft team to provide the gaming community with great experiences, including exclusive community events and deals on the Ubisoft Store in the upcoming year.”
This follows a renewal of the partnership with HyperX as the official sponsor for tournament equipment, including mice, keyboards, and other peripherals. With the Rainbow Six esports scene growing faster than ever, Ubisoft and HyperX help maintain global standards in terms of the organization of tournaments to help keep the Rainbow Six hype up.
“We have been working with HyperX since the beginning of the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six esports scene”, said Geoffroy Sardin, vice president sales & marketing Ubisoft EMEA. “It’s only logical and with great pleasure that we extend our partnership to the year to come.”
“HyperX enjoys being part of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six esports scene, and supporting its gaming community,” said Daniel Kelley, global director of marketing, HyperX. “Cloud series gaming headsets are designed to perform for many hour of comfortable gaming, and are great while playing Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six.”
