Chasm is a procedurally generated Metroidvania which has been in development since 2013. The Kickstarter campaign for Chasm was a huge success, bringing in nearly $200,000 out of an original goal of 150,000. After testing the patience of backers for so long, developer Bit Kid has finally revealed a release window for Chasm.

James Petruzzi, the founder of Bit Kid has unveiled that the game would come out this summer in the Playstation blog. He had this to say;

“Well, I’m happy to report that the little team that could is now putting the final touches on this passion project that has consumed five people for nearly six years. We expect to be submitting the final game to Sony in a couple months and launching this summer.”

Bit Kid also released a teaser trailer for Chasm, which you can watch below;

The highly anticipated title Chasm is coming out on PC (Windows, Linux and Mac), PS4 and PS Vita, featuring cross-buy support between the two.
