Right at the end of the Xbox Games Showcase, we got a sneak peek at the next Fable! The game is being developed by Forza Horizon developers Playground Games and is touted to be a new beginning (a reboot?) for this epic franchise. The cinematic trailer offered no launch window or gameplay but was enough to soothe the frayed nerves of fans who had expected the worst by thinking that the IP will never return. A few days back we had reported that a new Fable game was in development and it turns out, yet again, we were right! The short trailer manages to capture the irreverent and humourous tone of the old Fable games and that has our interest piqued!
