The love of fans is bringing Fable back – industry insider Klobrille, who focuses on primarily Xbox Game Studios, commented on Resetera that fans should expect an announcement of a new Fable title followed by an in-engine trailer.
Just to get that expectation right, I don’t think anyone should expect a Fable announcement with a gameplay demo like what Halo Infinite will do.
I guess this will rather be in the Horizon II-trailer-like ballpark. So, an in-engine trailer but somewhat indicative of what to expect.
Back in June this month, fans had discovered two Twitter placeholder accounts with Microsoft email IDs linked to them – Fable and Perfect Dark. Aaron Greenberg from Xbox Games Marketing at Microsoft had replied that this was standard practice to secure social handles of their IPs.

Alanah Pearce, ex-IGN employee and currently a host on Kinda Funny Xcast, has also claimed that a new Fable is being made.
Well, I know Fable is being made. I’ve said that a few times, it’s not been announced, but there’s just too many Microsoft employees have told me on the sly cause I’m excited about it. So I’ve had a bunch of people, like there was like five of them – and I was like, “look if it was just one of you I wouldn’t be openly talking about this, but so many of you did this, that I’m just going to tell everyone”. Fable is being made. I don’t know by who, the guess has obviously been Playground, because they recently hired a bunch of people who have experience working on open-world games. I think Forza Horizon is currently my favourite racing series ever, so I have tons of faith in Playground, too – so Fable is happening.

In a previous video on her personal channel, when asked about the likelihood of a new Fable game, she replied that she was positive that it was happening.
It is 100% likely a new Fable is being made. I promise. I know it’s happening.
