Many developers and publishers including tinyBuild, Double Fine have taken a step to support the annual One Gamer Fund fundraiser. They are putting many of their popular titles on sale today through 6th October via Steam. These include Psychonauts, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Never Alone, I Am Bread, Along Together, and 35+ other titles. 50% of the proceeds from the sales during this period will directly be sent to One Gamer Fund. The other half will, ofcourse, go to the developers and publishers themselves.

One Gamer Fund divides the proceeds and other donations among the industry’s most prominent charities: AbleGamersChild’s PlayGames for ChangeGlobal Game JamIGDA FoundationStack-Up and Take This.
The Charities

“As gaming spreads to more people, so too do the benefits games provide,” says Jo Summers, executive producer, Global Game Jam. “One Gamer Fund offers near endless possibilities for helping with mental health, bringing marginalized communities together, and much more. Each of the organizations benefiting from One Gamer Fund are working to make the industry and the world better, and it’s the generosity of gamers everywhere that fuels the good work these charities can do.”
