The AMD Ryzen CPUs represented the first set of the red team’s Zen processor architecture, the pinnacle of which is going to be the 16C/32T Threadripper.
AMD is trying to build upon their Ryzen line up, by doubling the core count. Threadripper is aimed at the highest end of the consumer grade market where it will hopefully be successful to give Intel a run for the money and make their higher end procesors cheaper.
