Mortal Kombat X will be launching on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on Tuesday, April 14th 2015. Typically Tuesday is just for North American releases but the game will be hitting all territories on that date.
Goro, the 4 armed Shokan warrior who was a sub-boss in the first Mortal Kombat game, will be offered as a Pre-Order Exclusive. Goro is one of the more popular characters in the Mortal Kombat roster and was even featured in the one of the Mortal Kombat feature films.
Its unclear right now, if Goro will be available for the general public later as an extra paid DLC of some kind, or will he be involved in the game’s story or would just be a character available in the multiplayer mode of the game. What we do know is that one of the variations of Goro will have him with 6 arms instead of 4.
Variations is the new big thing that is being talked about in Mortal Kombat X. Players can choose between three variations of each character. Each variation has a different fighting style, letting you alter your strategy while still playing your favorite character. So you can have Raiden as Thunder God, Displacer or the Storm Lord variations, which in turn would give you a completely different move-set.
Mortal Kombat will feature both new and old characters. Newcomer Cassie Cage is the daughter of long-time characters Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, will join Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Kano in the latest fight for the Nether-Realm.
Once again, Mortal Kombat X will be releasing on April 14th 2015
