After months of speculation, Guerrilla Games announced that Horizon Zero Dawn is indeed coming to PC this year. The acclaimed open-world game will be making its way to the PC as Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition via Steam this summer.

The news comes via PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios President Hermen Hulst speaking in an interview with the PlayStation Blog. Judging from the interview, we may expect more PS4 exclusives coming to PC but chances of future simultaneous release are non-existent. In his words,

“I think it’s important that we stay open to new ideas of how to introduce more people to PlayStation, and show people maybe what they’ve been missing out on,”

“And to maybe put a few minds at ease, releasing one first-party AAA title to PC doesn’t necessarily mean that every game now will come to PC. In my mind, Horizon Zero Dawn was just a great fit in this particular instance. We don’t have plans for day and date [PC releases], and we remain 100% committed to dedicated hardware.”

The Complete Edition for PC includes the huge expansion The Frozen Wilds, featuring new lands, skills, weapons and Machines.

What else is included;

  • Carja Storm Ranger Outfit and Carja Mighty Bow
  • Carja Trader Pack
  • Banuk Trailblazer Outfit and Banuk Culling Bow
  • Banuk Traveller Pack
  • Nora Keeper Pack

Release date, system requirements and price are yet to be revealed.
