So the wait is over, and we finally have a set date and time for the gameplay live stream. [INTERNAL SCREAMING]
The gameplay will be streamed live on August 30 at 6:00 PM UTC / 11:30 PM IST. Get your reminders ready!
According to their latest blog post, the gameplay will be a 15 minute edit of what they’ve been showing to journalists and gamers at gamescom. Yep, just 15 minutes. Though this is understandable as everything is subject to change, and all the criticized things will probably be modified. They just don’t want to show something that might look cool but wouldn’t be in the final game, so it’s nothing to worry about.
“Expect a lot of insight into the thought process behind creative decisions, information about Pacifica—one of the districts of Night City—and TONS of stuff on playstyles you’ll be able to adopt when you launch Cyberpunk 2077 next year.”
The gameplay will be followed by dev interviews for additional insight on the gameplay. CD Projekt RED also revealed that while they had initially planned the gameplay reveal for PAX West, they’ve had a change of plans and now will be streaming from their Warsaw studio as they won’t be able to have a dev panel on-site by then.
Cyberpunk 2077 will also be exhibited at Tokyo Game Show 2019 at Spike Chunsoft’s booth. CDPR will showcase live gameplay for the Japanese dub version of the game at the booth. A full-scale model of the in-game motorcycle Yaiba Kusanagi will also be in the display.
The open-world RPG launches April 16th, 2020. Follow the game at:
