After some subtle tease, Sega has officially announced Yakuza Kiwami 2 for the PC through an announcement trailer. The game will release for PC through Steam on May 9, 2019.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is the remake of 2006’s Yakuza 2 on the cutting-edge Dragon Engine and was released for PS4 on December 2017. The PC version will feature 4K support, unlockable framerates, customizable controls, and robust graphics options.

In Yakuza Kiwami 2, Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima, must face the ambitious Ryuji Goda, the Dragon of Kansai, in an all-out war between two rival yakuza clans. Also new to Kiwami 2 is the ‘Majima Saga’ which features fan favorite Goro Majima in his own playable adventure revealing events that occur prior to the game.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 PC pre-orders are live starting today. Purchasing the game prior to launch for ₹ 1,099 will get you the Clan Creator Bundle DLC, which comes with super rare Clan Creator Leaders and Packs, exclusive weapons, outfits and other additions for the minigame.

Yakuza 0 and Kiwami has ported over to PC by Sega in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Now we are certain that the Yakuza 3,4 and 5 remasters currently being released in Japan will also make its way to the PC while Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, might come to PC this year itself.
