Nintendo aired their latest Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Direct earlier today and they revealed that their upcoming open world JRPG for the Nintendo Switch will be getting a season pass. Costing $30, it includes a good amount of content:

Nintendo is also releasing a Special Edition for the game that includes – the base game, metal game case, soundtrack CD and an artbook:

There will also be a cool looking Pro Controller available for purchase for the occasion:

Finally, there will also be a free (and optional) day-one patch that adds Japanese audio to the game, so those who complained about the lack of a Japanese dub in the previous Xeno game, Xenoblade Chronicles X (on the Wii U) can rejoice.

On a side note, Nintendo also announced an update for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild will that add a side quest to the game, which on completion will grant you a Rex costume (Rex is the main protagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles 2). It will be available on November 9th:
