It is possibly the last time we’ll be seeing Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series. As the creative director of Naughty Dog(developer of Uncharted games), Neil Druckman said in an interview –
“At the end of this story(Uncharted 4), it will be really hard to do a sequel with Nathan Drake“
He didn’t clearly said that it would be the end of the franchise, as Sony owns the rights of the game and could do whatever they want to do with the franchise. But one thing for sure is that Nathan won’t be able to make it, in future games if possible.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been listed on all major retailers worldwide for quite sometime. And now,the possibly-last installment of the game is finally available for pre-orders in India.
But there’s a catch, you can only pre-order the Standard Edition of the game priced at Rs. 3,999. The Special Edition which includes a steel book case, a 48-page hardcover art book, stickers and in-game currency, will be sold at $80 USD (approx Rs. 5410) in other territories. Along side a Collector’s Edition was also being sold at $120 (approx Rs. 8110) which has all the content of the Special Edition along with a 12-inch statue of Nathan Drake and a few multiplayer items. These both Editions (Special and Collector’s) were not kept available for pre-orders in India( I don’t know why but if I guess it’ll be the price tag of the editions which is considered as expensive for the Indian gamers by the publishers).
As talk of the game, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be releasing on April 27 , and I’m personally giving you advice to pre-order Nathan’s last adventure right NOW!!
