And what is their prey? Monsters. Besides these, apparently Geralt has the super power of speech as well (why else would Yennefer of Vengerberg or Triss Merigold, besides a few thousand eligible ladies, be interested in him?). The Wild Hunt sees the finale of the tale of Geralt, as Nilfgaard marches into war against the Northern Realms, with several endings depending upon critical choices made in the game. A wide variety of side quests mean that you would more often be engaged in some business other than tracking down Ciri, Nilfgaard’s Emperor Emhyr’s daughter. Take upon a monster contract to slay a beast the people can’t kill, or simply wander the landscape, taking in the scenery, on Roach, Geralt’s trustworthy steed, or on foot.

4) Middle Earth : Shadow of Mordor : http://store.steampowered.com/app/241930/Middleearth_Shadow_of_Mordor/

Lord of the Rings is a huge story, and building off the story in several other related stories with the same lore, as well as video games is common practice. Shadow of Mordor tells about the story of Talion, the Captain of the Rangers of Gondor, who operated off the boundary from Mordor, watching the Orc advance. One day, Orcs invade, kill off Ioreth, his wife, and Dirrhael, his son, and even manage to kill Talion himself after a struggle. Apparently death isn’t the end, for the ritual done by the Black Hand (the elite Orcs in Sauron’s army) to summon the wraith of the elf lord Celebrimbor result in the wraith being merged with Talion, thus preventing him from dying. Celebrimbor and Talion set out on an epic journey to stop the Orc march and kill Sauron. Will they be successful in their journey? Or will the Eye of Sauron watch over all of Middle-Earth?

5) Rocket League : http://store.steampowered.com/app/252950/Rocket_League/

One of the first sports game to truly reinvent the genre and pump some life into a dead franchise by inventing a whole new game. In this game, rocket-propelled cars are controlled by players, which they use to knock a huge ball across the stadium. If you get the ball across the goal hoops of the other team, you score a goal. Score more goals than the opponent within a limited time frame, and you win. That’s basically football with the human players replaced by RC cars (or basketball, which was later added as free DLC). While it sounds simple, maintaining control of the ball when you’re in air and actually directing the ball out of the opponent’s control in-game is quite tedious. Perfect control over your car, besides some good team work, wins you games and allows comebacks you never think are possible.
