The Outer Worlds, fabled FPS-RPG hybrid from Obsidian Entertainment, the guys who brought you Fallout New Vegas, will be officially launching as an Epic Store exclusive. Control, a surreal third person shooter from Remedy Entertainment, the developers behind Max Payne and Quantum Break, is another big catch for the Epic Store. Earlier, Epic Games have also reported that Quantic Dream’s games Detroit : Become Human, Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls are making it to the PC through their store.
Find yourself in midst of a deep conspiracy set in a colony at the furthest edge of the galaxy in #TheOuterWorlds.

Epic is clearly bringing the fight to Steam, and while their moves of acquiring ‘exclusives’ for the PC platform are controversial, clearly they are welcome among the developer community. Satisfactory, Hades, Industries of Titan, The Sinking City are some immensely popular indies picked up by the Epic Store, beside AAA titles like Division 2, Metro Exodus and more. All Epic exclusives will be purchasable from the Humble Store too, as another option for customers. While critics may be in denial, Epic’s generous revenue share is a popular move as more and more developers jump ship to the Epic store.
