Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Naughty Dog have released the official story trailer for The Last of Us Part II.

Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors. When a violent event disrupts that peace, Ellie embarks on a relentless journey to carry out justice and find closure. As she hunts those responsible one by one, she is confronted with the devastating physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.
Now, say what you want about the leaked content and the issues surrounding the game. That’s a can of worms best saved for another post. But, it doesn’t take away from the fact that this is a well-edited trailer that conveys some of the themes of the upcoming game without revealing anything crucial. 2 days ago, Neil Druckmann the Writer, Director, Vice President at Naughty Dog, had announced that the sequel to the highly acclaimed post-apocalyptic game has now gone gold and is ready to be shipped to meet a release date of June 19.
The Last of Us Part II will release exclusively on PS4 on June 19 on June 19.
