As promised, Telltale announced new seasons for three of their popular titles: The Walking Dead, Batman….and The Wolf Among Us.

First, let’s talk about Batman:

So, as we’ve reported earlier that there’s an upcoming DLC for Telltale’s Batman titled The Enemy Within (is it some kinda reference to The Evil Within?), it turns out that it’s not just a DLC but rather a whole new season.

Batman: The Enemy Within – The Telltale Series will be a five-part episodic series with Episode one, ‘The Enigma,’ available for download from August 8th, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Mac, and will later available on iOS and Android-based devices.

Players can grab a special ‘Season Pass Disc’ for Xbox One and PS4 available at retailers this October. The retail disc will incorporate first episode in the series while also gives you access to later episodes which will released periodically.

Here’s official description of the game by Telltale:

In this latest chapter, both Bruce Wayne and Batman will be forced into precarious new roles. The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman’s new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the darkness will you let Bruce descend?

Troy Baker will be reprising his role as Bruce Wayne, so as Anthony Ingruber as ‘The Joker’.

Now, its time for more The Walking Dead:

The studio’s flagship title will be returning for the fourth and final season with The Walking Dead – The Final Season (sounds very unconventional, its a working title though).

The series finale will premiere in 2018 and after refraining in previous season this time Telltale will put you in the shoes of our beloved Clementine again.

“It’s going to be an amazing experience. Thank you all so much, from the bottom of my heart,” said Melissa Hutchison, the voice behind Clementine. “It’s been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, and so much love has been behind this whole experience. Good luck, I’ll be right there with you.”

The Walking Dead: The Working Title or The Walking Dead: The Final Season, whatever you refer it to as, will debut in 2018 on consoles, PC/Mac, iOS and Android-based devices.

And finally, let’s get into the world of Fables comic:

Well, yesterday, Telltale’s Head of Creative Communications, Job Stauffer said that people are “getting their hopes up in wrong direction” referring to rumours about a new The Wolf Among Us season.

But, after all, it was not just rumours, it turns out to be true (proving my guess right again). We really get a second season for game based on Bill Willingham’s ‘Fables’ comic book series.

“With overwhelming popular demand from fans since the series concluded in 2014, Telltale surprised their fans today in an announcement video from the cast and crew confirming that the project is coming in the year ahead”, reads a press release sent by Telltale.

The title has not been finalised yet, it will debut in the second half of 2018 “across all major gaming consoles and mobile gaming devices”.

This new season, according to Telltale, will begin a fresh story arc for its returning cast of characters, featuring the return of Adam Harrington as Bigby Wolf and Erin Yvette as Snow White.
