Dark Light

Now all those out there who are new to PC gaming will feel the above question haunting them for some considerable time. We all know that Steam is the largest library of games on the planet, which is one of the reasons people shift to PC gaming and one of the biggest points which comes up in a console war debate. But do we like all the games up there. The answer is clearly a big fat “NO”. It is impossible to complete all the games on steam in one lifetime. But the main question is not whether we play them or not, rather it is about whether we like the games or not. I do not doubt that there are many games which are pretty good but the sheer quantity of games on steam divides the much needed attention a single game should get. As we all know:

Quality wins over quantity.

Don’t misunderstand us, Steam has good games but we have to agree to the fact that 8-9 games out of 20 are literally garbage. Of course the other 11-12 are good but the release rate of games is very high and many games do not get the recognition that they deserve. They go under the radar or people can’t even find them in the general lists. I personally think that Steam should restrain on releasing every game and concentrate on the more creative or so to say better games. We’re not saying that Steam should stop releasing such games but it should make a separate column for such games. This way the games which are actually good will be noticeable and will gain the popularity they deserve.
