Marvel’s Spiderman on the PS4 is one of the best superhero games out there, along with the Arkham series. So it goes without saying that the sequel on PS5 is something players worldwide are impatiently waiting for. Today, a plethora of rumors regarding Spiderman 2 surfaced on the internet.
Redditer /throwawayquarantine8 apparently had a source from an insider meeting held at the developer’s studio. The devs had a story/tech showreel and discussion meeting over Zoom and all the key info has been noted down by the user. The meeting was said to be an hour-long with different cut scenes showcased along with some in-game mechanics, new dynamic lighting, missions, and side missions. Do note that at this point, these are nothing but rumors without any credibility. So, take it with a grain of salt.

Now, this all sounds too intricate and detailed for a leaked to be true but we’ve been surprised by less. Insomniac did have a developer conference call last day. But it’s also possible that the leaker took this into account while framing this intricate rumor.
Hopefully, Sony will announce Spiderman 2 on the PS5 sometime this year.
