Insomniac Games today at the PS5- Future of Gaming show, announced their upcoming Spider-Man game coming to the Playstation 5. Despite the leaks and rumors, the game is not a direct sequel to 2018’s Marvel Spider-Man but will be called Spider-Man: Miles Morales and will feature the escapades of the titular fan-favorite character. Insomniac and Sony announced the title via a short teaser with the tagline ‘be greater’.

The game will release for the PS5 on the Holiday season, 2020 probably as a launch title for the PS5.
