Palm Sugar: A Village Story is an award-winning story-driven pixel RPG rooted in South Indian culture that tells a dark tale of romance and strife, with unforgettable characters and beautiful pixel-art landscapes. Seenu’s peaceful life and dreams of courting his sweetheart are quickly overturned after a brutal drug cartel overruns his home, forcing him to embark on an epic personal journey and fight to take it back, whilst exploring the beautiful backdrop of South India and experiencing the culture of its people.
The world of Palm Sugar: A Village Story has Seenu wielding a variety of weapons native to rural life, ranging from sticks to slingshots, as players outsmart their opponents on their quest to save the village. Seenu will meet a colorful cast of characters in dialogue-rich encounters, where he can express his humor, sarcasm, and heart and maybe even win the girl of his dreams. The cartel, on the other hand, are not weak to Seenu’s charms, so players must practice caution in their quest to liberate Bellampakam.
