G2 esports announced that they are well and truly willing to replace their former IGL and French CS Legend Shox alongside new signing Lucky. It is safe to say Shox have had quite the career any aspirant dreams of having. Over the years he has played for top French sides like LDLC, Titan and Envy and is a major winning IGL and star to keep an eye on in whatever team he chooses to play. Shox alongside the G2 roster have failed to make it to the Legends status after failing to get the upper-hand against Renegades. Reports claim that the French Organization has approached Nemanja “nexa” Isaković and Nemanja “huNter” Kovač after their brilliant performance under the CA4ZY lineup. G2 struggled to make an impact on the scene since overhauling their roster with Lucky, Audric “JaCkz” Jug, and later on François “AmaNEk” Delaunay. Since bringing on the latter, the French team managed a year-best second-place finish at Big Events in Montpellier at the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals, finished between 5-6th place finishes at DreamHack Masters Dallas and IEM Chicago.
On the other side of France, Vitality has confirmed that they have benched veteran anchor and two times major winner Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt, sources indicating towards kioShiMa to replace the man although nothing has been officially confirmed by both parties. Shox has also been a target for Vitality alongside kioShiMa because of their successful past with French rosters.
ENCE has confirmed the departure of Aleksi ‘Aleksib’ Virolainen, and has identified Mika ‘Sunny’ Kempii as his replacement, with his destination officially unclear but a recent screenshot showing AleksiB joining FaZe Clan’s Steam Group has shed some light on his new team. FaZe Clan were seemed to be practicing after the major debacle but those sessions only involved NiKo raiN and Olofmeister. Which also could be hinting at the departure of GuardiaN and Neo who are showing significant signs of aging. AleksiB can definitely bring to FaZe Clan what they lack, a solid structure around which they can perform to the best of their abilities.
Alongside all the rumors, there is a solid possibility of all free agents and benched players like Shox, Coldzera, Lucky, Edward joining 100 Thieves who have recently announced their interest to come back to Counter Strike, with their roster open to sign whoever they decide. Players like Coldzera and ScreaM were heavily linked with a move to the American side. With new venture capitalist, they boast enough financial depth to sign any player who seem to interest them.
Been with the eSports community for 7 years but can’t screen an article with glaring grammatical errors before posting it on the internet. So much for the eagle eyed vision.
It would be much appreciated if you specifically point out one or two of them.
