If this tweet wasn’t a dead giveaway already, Microsoft spelled it out for their Xbox fans on their newsblog – Rainbow Six Siege is coming to Xbox Game Pass for console and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for cloud gaming on Android devices on October 22. Xbox Game Pass members will also be able to avail a 10% discount on all in-game items. The game recently surpassed 60 million registered players as per Ubisoft’s latest financial report.

Ubisoft’s multiplayer tactical FPS, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege released back in 2015 to mixed reviews, but the game has since kept the gameplay fresh with its continuous operator additions and map changes. After adopting a GaaS model, and finding a fervent fan-following that made it into an esport, Rainbow Six Siege has finally found its footing and keeps hitting it out of the park with each seasonal update. Featuring violent close-quarters combat, with an impressive array of guns and gadgets as tools of destruction, this always-evolving game has managed to keep its players hooked. Currently on Season 5 with over 20 maps and 57 operators to choose from, Rainbow Six Siege does not look to rest easy on its laurels and promises to keep changing the meta with every upcoming major update.

The Xbox Game Pass has been a game-changer for Microsoft – as of September this year, the videogame subscription service has topped 15 million subscribers. With over 150 games available for its cloud gaming on the Android platform, and Microsoft’s plan to bring the Xbox Game Pass to iOS by releasing a browser-based app, this streaming service shows absolutely no signs of slowing down!

We, at Gameffine, have been at the forefront of reporting news about Rainbow Six Siege – starting from the recent Tachanka rework, to Sam Fisher joining the squad in the new season Operation Shadow Legacy. Tell us your opinions about the game, and what else you would love to know about. With games like Doom Eternal also coming to the Xbox Game Pass, the service seems to be an excellent value addition.
