A new Need for Speed had been announced back in February, and since there went Ghost Games, dead silent about the game. But the wait is right about to end, with a mysterious countdown now live on the Need for Speed website.
Is the title really Need for Speed Heat, as speculated? Well, now you won’t have to wait long to know that, as the countdown will be ending tomorrow on 14th Aug, at 7:30 PM IST/2:00 PM UTC. What lies ahead is, well… unknown at the moment. But if I had to guess it’d just be a small teaser along with the title, with the full reveal at Gamescom (which is just a week away).
The game won’t be a sequel, remaster or remake, rather a new experience similar in style to the fan-favourite Underground games or NFS 2015. It’s also speculated to be heavily focused on Cops vs Racers like the ol’ Hot Pursuit. (Ah, memories!)
