We let you know the other day that 2K and Hangar 13 are re-releasing the Mafia Trilogy with the first game being a complete remake and Mafia II and III being remasters. Surprisingly for 2K, Mafia II and Mafia III owners will get the respective definitive editions for free. The offer applies to STEAM owners of Mafia II and those who own Mafia III on PS4/XBO/STEAM. Do note that if you don’t own the DLCs, you’ll have to buy them separately.
Players who purchase Mafia: Trilogy digitally prior to August 28 will be able to access Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition immediately on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam, and will be able to download Mafia: Definitive Edition as soon as it becomes available on August 28. The Definitive Editions for Mafia II and Mafia III are available today within the Mafia: Trilogy and as standalone purchases on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam, and will be coming to the Epic Games Store and Stadia at a later date.
