Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an interesting upcoming First person perspective action RPG built on the CryEngine. It’s journey started out as a Kickstarter campaign and I have been cautiously excited for the game since then. Recently the system requirements of the game were announced by the developers, so without further ado let’s dive into it:
MINIMUM:
-
- OS: OS 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1)
- Processor: Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz, AMD CPU Phenom II X4 940
- Memory: 6 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 660, AMD GPU Radeon HD 7870
- Storage: 30 GB available space
The requirements aren’t steep at all, but considering that this is not a AAA game, the specs are a bit surprising. An i5-2500k is a decent processor but modern i3s perform almost on par with this 4+ years old CPU. As for the GPU, GTX 660 and HD7870 are more than 5 year old entry level GPUs at this point, so modern entry level card will breeze through the game. As for RAM and storage, 6 GB and 30 GB respectively are pretty standard stuff.
RECOMMENDED:
-
- OS: OS 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1)
- Processor: Intel CPU Core i7 3770 3,4 GHz, AMD CPU AMD FX-8350 4 GHz
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 1060, AMD GPU Radeon RX 580
- Storage: 30 GB available space
Considering the minimum system requirements I wasn’t surprised to see an i7 and the current gen mid tier GPUs for the recommended requirements. The i7-3770 is still a very good processor but any overclockable i5 from the Haswell (i5-4XXXK) series will run the game just fine. As for the GPUs, well the GTX 1060 and RX 580 are decent cards, and I think that something like a GTX 970 would be able to run the game just fine.
