Horizon: Forbidden West, Sackboy, and Spiderman: Miles Morales have been announced for the PS5 earlier, but Playstation CEO Jim Ryan has confirmed these titles will be coming to the PS4 as well.
This is a consumer-friendly approach since not everyone will be able to get PS5 at launch due to availability or other reasons. Sackboy is set to release worldwide on November 19, Spiderman on Holiday Season, and Horizon in 2021.
CEO Jim Ryan also stated that “The PlayStation 4 digital versions of launch games include a free upgrade on both PlayStation 5 consoles, while the PlayStation 4 disc versions of these games include a free upgrade on the PlayStation 5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive.”
