Hitman 3 enjoyed a surprising world premiere at the Sony PS5 reveal event – it was unexpected, yet warmly welcomed by gamers from all over the world. Developed and published by IO Interactive using their proprietary Glacier game engine, you step into the shoes of Agent 47 in this mature and dark conclusion to the trilogy.
At the IOI Monthly Livestream Episode #15, Community Developer Clemens Koch and Community Manager Travis Barbour, provided fans some interesting information about the game. If you own Hitman (2016) or Hitman 2 (2018), you would be able to directly import all of their 20 locations to Hitman 3. Your progression and unlocks will also carry over. All 6 locations of this game will be accessible to players from Day 1. The only location from this game that has been made public is a Dubai skyscraper in all its tall glory.
Hitman 3 picks up where the last game left off and will conclude the new trilogy that began with Hitman 2016.
David Bateson, the voice of Agent 47 for more than 21 years, is back as the titular Hitman, along with several beloved returning characters such as Agency handler Diana Burnwood and a long-lost friend Lucas Grey. You work together to eliminate the partners of the ancient, secret cabal, Providence.
This game encourages freedom of choice and brings in reactive AI to liven up the world. Don innovative disguises, eavesdrop, create distractions, and manipulate puzzle-like levels to assassinate your target and complete your mission.
This globetrotting sandbox stealth-action game will be launching in January 2021 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.
