Ninja Theory has announced that their psychological thriller Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has sold one million copies worldwide on all platforms. It took Hellblade 3 platforms and a year to cross the 1 million mark. Not bad for a new IP.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice puts you in the shoes of a psychotic viking woman named Senua as she crosses the underworld to save the soul of her lover. The game has been created in collaboration with neuroscientists and people who experience psychosis. Hellblade was lauded for its themes, narrative and the representation of mental health.
