Halo 3 is coming to PC as part of the Master Chief Collection on July 14, 2020. PC players can choose to play on both Microsoft Store and Steam platforms. Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers will have access to the game too for free, at launch. The game will also be available for standalone purchase after launch. The game will go live at 10 AM PT / 10:30 PM IST on that day.

The announcement follows after developer 343 Industries successfully completed a closed beta test. Halo 3 will be joining Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary in the fantastic PC Master Chief Collection, with Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 scheduled to drop in later this year. It will also kick off the MCC Season 2, where the battle pass styled progression system will receive sweeping updates.
