Godfall got a new gameplay trailer during the PC Gaming Show. Godfall is one of the AAA’s that’s going multiplatform, and that’s saying something. The game takes place in a ”high fantasy universe filled with heroic knights, arcane magic and forbidden realms”. The game seems to be inspired by The Last Airbender, with the world being divided into four realms based on the elemental energies in each region – air, water, fire, and earth. The player roleplay as a Valorian Knight in the world – godlike warriors wielding special armor called Valorplates, using their power to watch over the regions.
The game’s combat looks pretty fluid and really responsive. Admittedly this game is in its alpha stage, and gameplay, as well as graphics, stand to change a lot. Despite that, the game looks quite decent and playable in its current state.
