Yesterday, Telltale teases on their twitter account about the “first details on a very different project” coming from their “partner developer”.

But before the news come out officially, its been revealed by Amazon that Telltale is publishing The Fun Pimps’ survival-horror game 7 Days to Die for a PS4 and Xbox One release.

According to the listing, it’s set for a June 14 release at a price of $29.99. It was previously released on Steam where players can craft and repair their own tools – including weapons, armor, clothing, and vehicles to stay alive against a relentless undead threat.

“With over 2 million copies sold on PC (digital download), Indie hit 7 Days to Die has redefined the survival genre, with unrivalled crafting and world- building content” reads the description on Amazon. “Set in a brutally unforgiving post-apocalyptic world overrun by the undead, 7 Days to Die is an open-world game that is a unique combination of first person shooter, survival horror, tower defense, and role-playing games. It presents combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration, and character growth, in a way that has seen a rapturous response from fans worldwide.”

*UPDATE: Telltale has now officially announced that 7 Days to Die is their next project.

Fans who pre-order the game will get access to 5 exclusive character skins from Telltale’s The Walking Dead series, including Michonne and Lee Everett.

The console version of 7 Days to Die adds a new multiplayer mode supporting local split- screen for couch play, additional online multiplayer modes and features will be revealed in the coming weeks.

7 Days to Die will be supported by DLC content, with details to be revealed in the “near future”.

It will be available as a downloadable or disc-based, retail product with a recommended retail price of $29.99 USD or equivalent.

The game is due for release on PlayStation 4, and Xbox One during the summer of 2016, however Amazon suggest a June 14 release.
