Dark Light

It’s not surprising to see prices of hardware go down over a period of time, but what matters is whether the hardware will stay relevant for a certain amount of time. Especially with PC hardware it’s mostly about- “Should I pay an extra 25% to buy the latest tech or should I pay 25% less and get the older tech”. Even I had the same issue when selecting my PC parts.

Sudden price drops in hardware which are a bit old but will remain relevant for a longer period of time are always a good sight to see. Oh I know how people love those Black Friday Sales. Today EVGA listed their GTX 980Ti for 200$ up on the official site, which is probably the best deal I have seen in almost a year, at least for GPUs. The GTX 980Ti almost performs on par with the ~330$ GTX 1070 and blasts anything in the 200$ price point out of the water. It runs some of the really demanding games like Witcher 3, GTA V, Rise of he Tomb Raider etc at more than 60 fps with all settings turned to Ultra on 1080p and is a good entry to 4k 30 fps gaming.

Overall, for 200$ the GTX 980Ti is a steal whichever way you look at it, just be sure to check that your PSU is up to the mark, because this beast has a TDP of 250W. HERE is the link to the deal.
