The Summer Games Fest is fast approaching, and it vows to be the “largest digital event” possible for game reveals. The lineup seen so far seems quite promising – including the likes of Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Rockstar Games, Activision Blizzard, and so many more. The video games industry has experienced growth even during the COVID-19 pandemic, and everyone wants to bring something new to the table to appeal to more consumers.

Electronic Arts have quite a few promising reveals tuned for their official reveal event called “EA Play”. According to senior industry analyst Daniel Ahmad, Electronic Arts hopes to launch at least six in-house titles this year. These include Burnout Remastered, Command and Conquer Remastered, FIFA 21, Madden NFL 21, NHL 21, and another sports game that hasn’t been announced yet.

Announcements also include one EA HD title, four EA partner titles, and two mobile games.

Apparently a VR version of Medal of Honor is also in production and is likely to see a release date in the Q1 2021. The four partner titles and the EA HD title are also likely to have a launch period of Q1 2021 (delays happening due to the COVID-19 pandemic).

What’s surprising is that Electronic Arts have also set their eyes on the Switch as a target platform. The Switch will see the release of Burnout Paradise by Q1 2021. Teasers have also suggested that Apex Legends, FIFA 21, and Plants vs Zombies are also coming to the Switch.

The official announcement is poised to take place on 11th June from 9 AM ET/4 PM PT.
