Bethesda announces today DOOM’s Open Beta which will run from 15-18 April and three multiplayer DLC one of which releasing this summer.
The aforementioned Open Beta will not require a code that means anybody can get their hands on it, you just need to logon to your current platform and download to access Team Deathmatch and Warpath on the Heatwave and Infernal maps.
For the rest of the year, Bethesda will provide certain free content updates across SnapMap and multiplayer.
Multiplayer will also receive content updates in the form of new game modes. Both of these SnapMap and multiplayer updates will be free to use and play.
In addition to the planned free support and content updates, three multiplayer DLC packs will also be releasing after launch, which will incorporate a number of new maps, hack modules, playable demons, weapons and more. The first of the three DLCs will be available this summer featuring:
- Three new maps
- One new weapon
- One new playable demon
- One new armour set
- One new piece of equipment
- New hack modules and taunts
- New customization colours and patterns
Each DLC pack will cost $14.99 /£11.99 / €14.99 / approx 1,000 INR, or you can get them all at a discount with the Season Pass for $39.99 / £29.99 / €39.99 / approx 2,600 INR.
DOOM will be released on May 13 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
