Capcom recently announced that they’re bringing a collection of the first three Devil May Cry games to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Launching on March 13, 2018 for $29.99, the Devil May Cry HD Collection includes Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition.
No specifics on any visual improvements have been specified but of course you can expect the exact same, tight, demanding 60 FPS gameplay the series is known for. The first and (especially) the third Devil May Cry games are still as fun, deep and rewarding to play, more a decade plus later from their original release, and rank as some of the pinnacles of the character action game genre. The ability to play them in high def visuals at 60fps, is a tempting proposition, especially on the PC, which received a botched port of DMC3, back in the say.
Are you looking forward to it? Surprised that it’s not making it’s way to Switch; the upcoming Okami HD isn’t either. And speaking of DMC, there have been rumors of a Devil May Cry V as well so you may wanna check that out in case you missed it.
