You know the feeling, when a game comes out with a collector’s edition, and it doesn’t have the stuff which appeals to you. And other time, a collector edition is perfect, and yet its for a game that you don’t necessarily like. Well if you have answered YES to both questions than Square Enix has finally found an answer, by letting you decide.
If you are hyped enough for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, then you can vote and decide what goodies you want in the collector’s edition of the game. Yes, you can actually decide what will make an awesome collector’s edition. Heading over to the official Deus Ex : Mankind Divided website, you can choose from a list of 10 items which can be included in the collector’s edition. They want you to choose the items in order from most wanted to least wanted and they’ll use that data to gauge what people really want in the Collector’s Edition of the game when it finally preps for launch.
The items which you can choose from are:

- Metal Sign which says, “Welcome To Golem City”

All the items look cool to be honest, and I can see different things appealing to different people. The Combat Rifle and the Sleeve might attract cos-players, while college going kids might opt for the pin sets. Personally, I would rate the Adam Jensen statue and the Weapon Set Replica in my top 2. Collector’s and limited edition are slowly but steadily picking up steam in the video game industry. Arkham Knight had a collector’s edition which came with a batmobile replica (which was later pulled from the market, unfortunate), while a Mortal Kombat X edition came with a statue of a re-imagined Scorpion. At E3 2015, Bethesda hit the nail on the head with offering a real pip boy with every one of their Fallout Special Editions. With Square Enix’s new approach, it will be interesting what the final collector’s edition would look like.
