DotEmu and SEGA have announced that they are working on a brand new title in the classic beat ’em-up series Streets of Rage. Titled Streets of Rage 4, the game will be developed by Lizardcube, Guard Crush Games and Dotemu. The developers has released a reveal trailer for the game which contains a few snippets of gameplay.
Featuring hand-drawn visuals from the team behind 2017’s gorgeous Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap remake, Streets of Rage 4 builds upon the classic trilogy’s gameplay with new mechanics, a fresh story and a gauntlet of dangerous stages with a serious crime problem. The game will show off the classic brawler gameplay enhanced with brand new mechanics.
Nothing else is known about the game at this moment, aside from that it will feature a co-op mode and will likely be landing on the PC along with current gen consoles.
