Bungie and Activision released a new trailer of the MMO-lite shooter Destiny 2, advertising a new event dubbed Solstice of Heroes.
The event will run from tomorrow, July 31st, until August 28th, and will commemorate the loss of the City to the Red Legion at the beginning of the game’s story.,
During Solstice of Heroes, don your now-broken ceremonial armor, face new challenges, and re-forge it into something stronger than ever before. Each armor piece will include a series of objectives that – once accomplished – will turn it into a “Rekindled” set with power level 340. A second set of objectives on this set will let you upgrade it to the level 400 “Resplendent” set, and a final series of objectives will let you get the final unlock to the Masterwork version.
Among the objectives to complete are “Redux” missions, which are slightly altered versions of story missions. The event also includes new Moments of Triumph, and dedicated engrams including weapons, vehicles, emotes, and armor glows.
