Gamescom 2018 has been a bit of disappointment for Cyberpunk 2077 fans, while most of us were waiting (or at least expecting) for CD Projekt RED to finally public the E3 demo, but things aren’t always unfold as we wanted them to. The studio not even released any clips at all let alone the demo itself. We got few new screenshots and concept arts from the game though.

What’s newsworthy about Cyberpunk 2077 at Gamescom is that the game can be played entirely from the beginning to the end internally at CD Projekt Red’s studio.

It’s been six years Cyberpunk 2077 is in development and, recently, in an interview with Engadget, Richard Borzymowski, producer at Cyberpunk 2077, confirmed that the game has passed a big milestone – it is playable from start to finish, though the assets are still not implemented and there’s a heck lot of bugs to fix and improvements to make. “But seeing the story come together is a critical step in the development process”, he said.

Of course, this doesn’t mean we are getting to get our hands on the game sometime down the line, it may took the game a good amount of time to be publicly available. Although, it lends some hope to all those eagerly waiting for the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC….when it’s ready for a release.
