Dark Light

Destiny has a habit of celebrating stuff. Much like last year, this year on Valentine’s Day Destiny 2 is bringing back the Crimson Day. A limited time event which is gonna kick off today (14/02/2018) and run up to the end of the week (20/02/2018).

All Guardians are invited to complete the Welcome to Crimson Days Milestone, which begins in the Tower. There is a new way to play Crucible for you and your favourite teammate, so seek out your favourite clan member or Guardian and defeat opponents in the Crucible to earn sweet rewards.

There are 3 things that will impact your team in the Crimson Days Crucible Playlist:

  • Reunited: This buff increases the recharge rate of your and your ally’s abilities, but only when you are close together.
  • Drifting Apart: When you and your ally separate too far, your opponents will be gifted waypoints to your locations.
  • Vengeance: When your ally is defeated in combat, your abilities will recharge faster with an explosive burst, and your health will be partially regenerated.

One sweet addition to Crimson Days is the return of the Destiny 1 Crucible map, The Burning Shrine. Destiny 2’s The Burnout, set in the Vex’s dark future timeline on Mercury, premieres as your ultimate playground for vengeance in the Crimson Days Crucible Playlist.

Throughout Crimson Days, all Guardians will receive both an Illuminated Engram and a Crimson Engram every time they level up past their max level from playing any game mode they desire.
