Chainsawesome Games’ neon-lit multiplayer shooter Aftercharge, which features full cross-platform support, launches on Windows PC and Xbox One on Thursday, January 10th, and will be featured on Xbox Game Pass!

Prepare for one of 2019’s most unique team-based shooters by checking out several all-new screenshots and by studying these five key Aftercharge gameplay tips straight from Chainsawesome Games:

  1. It’s an FPS Unlike Any Other – Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail
You may have played many other shooters before but nothing like Aftercharge. Think with your head and not just your weapons — strategic actions are essential. If you go charging in without a plan you’re likely to fail.
  2. Workonics: You Can’t Kill the Defenders
When playing offense as the workonics, remember that the enemy team is invincible. They can’t die! Try your best to avoid them as your punches will only push enemies aside.
  3. Enforcers: You Don’t Have Unlimited Ammo
Shooting and using abilities as the defending enforcers consumes energy. You have to manage your energy carefully as it can only be recharged at extractors or deployed recharge stations.
  4. Workonics: Recharge Your Buddies Quickly!
There is no respawn in Aftercharge. When your robotic allies get taken down, it’s your number one priority to revive them with an electrified tap! Revives have no cooldown, cost, or cast time — go go go!
  5. Enforcers & Workonics: Class-Based Abilities
Choose from five character classes per team and test out each of their unique abilities that can turn the game around when used correctly. Play to your strengths and your opponents’ weaknesses. Review abilities in-game by pressing F1 to open the help screen.

In Aftercharge, teams of three must either destroy or defend coveted energy extractors scattered across the game’s various maps — moving invisibly, creating distractions as the workonics robots, or going into full “seek and destroy” mode as deadly security enforcers by unloading on foes with hard-hitting weaponry. Aftercharge’s quick competitive combat rounds and ten unique class-based characters, suitable for multiple playstyles, keep players’ blood pumping!

Aftercharge will be available on Windows PC via Steam and on Xbox Live for Xbox One and Xbox One X on January 10, 2019, for $19.99, and will release shortly after on Nintendo Switch — enabling three-way cross-platform play. Aftercharge will simultaneously be available through the Xbox Game Pass subscription service at launch.
