DICE has announced that the open beta for Battlefield V will begin in early September.

If the Closed Alpha is any indication, then the players will get to play the Conquest mode or the Grand Operation Fall of Norway further. The studio plans to conduct several more tests of Battlefield V – internal and external – before the October launch, and will be using their learnings from the first Alpha to test further and fine-tune the experience. They’ll be improving the matchmaking, things like queue system, and server stability.

The studio also announced that there will be a new build of Battlefield V at Gamescom.

Battlefield V will launch for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One on 16 October, 2018.

  1. isnt this the game that idiotically put females in the frontlines during WWII? What other stupid things is this game gonna add? Oh I know, why not add Obama as the president of the USA during WWII, since this game is doing stupid crap them Obama would fit right in, oh and Ninja’s, gotta have USA ninjas fighting in WWII while we’re at it… a thousand percent pass on this game, even if free. Hell, you couldnt pay me to play a game that takes place in a real event, yet gets it all wrong. no thanks, just no…
