Its reveal month here at DC world. As the people at WB and DC try to steal the thunder from the juggernaut that is Avengers: Age Of Ultron. But conspiracy theories aside, WB and Rocksteady did manage to show off the latest trailer for Arkham Knight, this time showcasing the other allies of the bat.
The trailer which you can check out above, shows off gameplay where you can see Robin, Nightwing and even Catwoman setting up thugs for Batman’s strike and vice-versa. This is interesting, because the game does not offer co-op, then who is controlling Bat’s partner(s).
Rocksteady has hinted that Arkham Knight may employ swapping technique as was seen in GTA V. This however does not answer all the questions. Instead it opens up even more. How many partners will be available to Batman? Can we pick and choose, or will the game choose the partner for us? Will there be any solo levels at all?
The trailer also shows the Arkham Knight at the head of an entire army. Also Azazel, who made an appearance in Batman: Arkham City is seen proclaiming that the prophecy that he spoke of in the sequel is finally coming to fruition. Then there is the usual smattering of Two Face and Scarecrow running havok in Gotham. Just another day in the city if you ask me.
The Arkham Knight is proving to be a magnum opus for Rocksteady. They are going all out on the last game in the Arkham trilogy. From introducing an all new villain in Arkham Knight, announcing Bat mobile based combat, getting a M rated rating for a Batman game to now including various other characters which you can play as. Rocksteady is pulling out all the stops.
What do you think of the game that you have seen so far? Does it paint you interested? And while we are at it, did you see the Batman Vs. Superman trailer? And what about that new look for the Joker by Jared Leto? Let us know all and more in the comments.
