Ubisoft is gearing up to release their biggest product of the year, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey next week. Described as the biggest game in the series, Odyssey will place players in Ancient Greece, a world rich with myths and legend, in fifth century BC during the Peloponnesian War between Sparta and Athens. Players will embark on an epic journey from a young outcast to a legendary hero and uncover the truth about their mysterious First Civilization lineage.

it took Powerpyx 41 hours to finish the 9 sequences in the main story. If a player manages to sit through all the dialogues without skipping them, the story will take around 50+ hours to complete. In order to obtain 100% completion, one will have to play for 100+ hours.

Apparently, there is also quite a bit of grind involved. You have to do a lot of side quests to level up. There are huge level gaps between some story quests and side quests are the only good way to get XP. Speaking of side quests, they do scale with the players’ level. There are also story arcs separate from the main campaign which can be done post-campaign. Getting to Level 50 will take around 50 hours without XP Boosters, a process which you can speed up through microtransactions (sigh).

Odyssey also features a robust endgame content including world bosses and an arena. All of this is excluding the rich post-release content planned for the game.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is coming out on 5th of October, 2018 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
